David Lametti, from Montreal, is Canada's new Minister of Justice, who takes over Jody Wilson-Raybould, who has been transferred to the Canadian Veterinary Office on Monday in Ottawa.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shakes his inner circle, which will probably be the last change before Canadians want to poll this year.

CBC News runs a live ceremony that began at 8:45 am at the Governor General's Rideau Hall, as well as a press conference with Trudeau and young ministers.

Lametti, a former professor of law at McGill University, had previously been Parliamentary Secretary of Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation.

Minister of Local Services Jane Philpott has been selected to fill the Cabinet vacancy as Chairman of the Treasury Board, and Filpotus is replaced by Minister of Veterans Affairs Seamus O & Regan.

The shuffle of the Cabinet of Ministers was caused by the resignation of Scott Brison, the long-term President of the Treasury.

He said he would not be ready for re-election this Thursday, so he now resigned, leaving Nova Scotia in the vacancy.

Monday, Nova Scotia MP Bernadette Jordan was appointed Minister of Rural Development.

According to a news release by the Prime Minister's Office, Jordan will be asked to develop a new rural development strategy to "promote economic growth and create good middle-class jobs in rural Canada." She will also work to bring high-speed internet to rural homes and businesses and work with municipalities, provinces, territories and indigenous partners to meet the needs of rural communities.

Several ministers were juggling only six months ago, as Trudeau expanded its cabinet before the 2019 election year.
