Unique VIDEO: Range Rover Sport for the first time without a driver in intensive traffic – BLITZ

The British Range Journey Range Rover Sport has completed its first autonomous journey to some of the most difficult roads in the UK, writes Monitors. The Range Rover Sport prototype has hit the difficult Coventry Ring Road, successfully changing the ribbon, merging with the rest of the traffic and leaving intersections at a maximum speed of 60 km / h.

The test was part of a £ 20m government-sponsored AK Autodrive project that ended after a three-year program. Land Rover's engineers undertook substantial tests for the autonomous closed loop technology before entering the public road network in Milton Keynes and Coventry.

The new Range Rover Sport was selected as dynamics and performance as an adaptive autopilot, but was changed to include additional navigation sensors, radar and much more. Combined with UK Autodrive project research.
