The British company for the production of premium alcoholic drinks Diageo has announced that it has sold 19 brands of American Sazerac. The transaction price is $ 550 million (£ 427 million), reports Reuters. The list includes three types of Whiskey brand Seagram, Roman Sambuca and Booth fiber products. The takeover must be approved by the regulators and is expected to be completed by early 2019.
Sales will allow Diageo to focus on top quality products in the United States, notes the British company. Transaction revenue expected to be around GBP 340 million will be returned to shareholders by selling shares. In the UK, the last car was popular, but its production was stopped in 2017.
