Originally on Monday, the French authorities found only one place on the beach in Surainville, on the Cotentin Peninsula. But soon after, another pillow was found – next door. According to the AAIB, goods are likely to belong to the missing aircraft from the initial inspection.
The Agency also reported that it was aware of private search in the region, and even hoped that the parties' approach could increase the chances of finding a lane.
David Mearns, a private search manager and spokesman for the island, also talked about the work of a team of stakeholders to ensure greater security and efficiency.
