Campaign warning for Heart Arrhythmia. Find out how to identify symptoms

The Brazilian Arithmetic Society (Sobrac) launched a "Heart with a Good Strike" campaign on Monday. The initiative is an alert for dysfunctions that cause the heart rate faster or slower than usual, or fluctuate at different rates, causing symptoms such as fatigue, weakness, dizziness and fainting, which can lead to sudden death. The disease affects more than 20 million Brazilians.

– The heart has two pumps, one on the right and one on the left, part of the electrical system responsible for heart rate and synchronization. Heart arrhythmia is a change that occurs in the creation or management of a heart electrical stimulator, "explains José Carlos Moura Jorge, president of Sobrac.

In general, there are two types of heart rhythm changes: tachycardia, when the heart is exaggerated too fast, and bradycardia, when the beats are very slow and irregular, with irregular heartbeat, the most common consequence is sudden cardiac death (MSC).

Who will determine the appropriate treatment is a doctor specializing in arrhythmia treatment. The most commonly used treatment methods are medicines, catheter ablation, or implanting electronic heart implants (DCEI) such as pacemakers (MPs), implantable defibrillators (CDIs) or resin chronisers – information Luciana Armaganijan, national coordinator of the Heart in Right Strike Campaign, which began on Monday, to celebrate the National Heart Rhythm Disorder and the Day of Sudden Death.
