The weekly income tax exhibition began in Chittagong City Mayor AHM Nasir Uddin opened Tuesday (November 13th) at the GEC Congress Center in the city.
Service tax payers will be provided this year with 45 cabs. There will be separate counters for deposits, e-payments, disabled people and senior taxpayers, with gold, public and basic bank cabins in Melanchas. The benefit of income tax auctions will be the opportunity to submit the return of old taxpayers, to submit income tax and to accept new TIN numbers. Taxpayers will receive all kinds of benefits under one roof.
Chittagong Division-1 Commissioner, Coordinator and Commissioner of Income Tax. Motahar Hossain said that, as every year, an income tax exhibition will be organized to create social equality and fair financial systems. In spite of increasing public relations with the Tax Department, taxation will be promoted. As such exhibitions take place in ordinary nations, taxis are reduced.
The tax department officials submitted 14 033 income tax returns to the 2010 exhibition. Revenue collection is 40 crore 12 lakh 21 thousand 824 trails. The amount of profit submitted to the last year's exhibition increased to 32 thousand 984. The tax collection was Tk 529 crore 70 thousand 981. As in the recent years, the income tax expense met the highest and long-term taxpayers. This award ceremony was held on Monday at the GEC Congress Center.
According to sources from the Tax Department, the exhibition is organized simultaneously with the whole country. There is a fair exhibition in Chakariya, Ram and Thinnaf from Mirsarai, Lohagara, Chandanishah, Rauzan, Hathaazar, Boalkhali, Satkan, and Chatsagona Karai districts. Sitakunda upazila is organized for two days at the exhibition.
