When Apple unveiled iPhone in 2007, the revolutionary was not just design, display and touch action, but also the eight gigabytes of internal memory. Almost twelve years later, Samsung announced that the first microSD card with terabyte memory would go into mass production.
Even Galaxy S9 and Note 9 can handle external memory cards up to 512 gigabytes. Now South Korea has made the next leap. 1 TB eUFS 2.1 memory read speed should be up to 1000 Mbps. The writing speed should be up to 260 Mbps.
With up to 512 gigabytes of internal memory, the available memory available on current smartphones is 1.5 terabytes. It should no longer create bottlenecks and remove requests due to lack of space.
According to Samsung, up to 260 4K UHD videos of ten minutes in length on SD card.
