It was an expensive steering wheel A1. On Thursday, in the central part of the Provincial Traffic Department, nine drivers were effectively removed from the area bordering Lower Austria and Sattledt.
Including the Porsche Cayenne, the Audi and the Mercedes steering wheel, as Clus Sherleitner, head of the "Today" County Traffic Management Department, explained.
For the four drivers, an extra EUR 2,000 was charged.
The reason: they had the so-called "laser blockers" installed in the car. These devices do not allow cars to be "locked".
Laser weapons act in such a way that they emit light rays, which usually return again. Not so with built-in laser blockers. They interfere with the signal. This makes it impossible to measure speed. An error message appears on the police display.
The drivers had to remove the devices, only they were allowed to continue.
