After a deal, a week long strike was made for higher wages in Hungary. Audi Hungary and the trade union AHFSZ have reached an agreement. Details were not mentioned. Has been resumed at the factory in Gyer in the west of the country.
Trade union AHFSZ on Wednesday called employees to strike last week. Initially, it required an 18 percent increase in wages. Negotiations were launched in September but initially did not result.
Audi, a subsidiary of VW, employs approximately 13,000 people at the engine factory in Gyor. AHFSZ claims to have about 9,000 members.
