Local councils expressed concern over Long Valley Rd last November after two teenagers died in a crash.
Mikayla Eastwood, 18, Strathalbyn, and her friend Hayden Perkins, 17, of Callington, were killed when the car they came across in another vehicle at Gemmell on November 20th.
SA police inspector Guss Sickerdick said that Thursday's crash could ruin the local community.
“They are two local ladies. One has now left the community, ”he said.
“Her involvement in society will be missed. She has a family, she has other people with whom she actually works together. With people like them, they will leave a big hole in society, but also in their family. ”
Insp Sickerdick said that early investigation showed a carelessness or divergence that caused an accident.
In the case of a woman's death, the state fee is 12, compared with five at the same time last year.
