Solar Project Church Estancia Guañizuil, one of the largest solar power plants in Argentina, will start producing energy, which will contribute to the national interconnected system on December 10th. It has an installed capacity of 80 MW and will supply 55 000 houses. The total investment is $ 103 million and the expected useful life will be 30 years.
The information was announced yesterday during a visit by Governor Sergio Uñac to Cordillera Solar I S.A., with the help of the Special Purpose Company (SPE), with the Jinko Solar project owned by this company. It is on the edge of Route 150 leading to Paso de Agua Negra, 5 kilometers from Las Flores, Iglesia.
The project has installed 287 080 panels that produce renewable energy that will contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture and industry by reducing energy budgets, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and ensuring greater energy independence. This is when the project is implemented, not only home users but also productivity and industry will benefit.
Cordillera Solar I S.A. was awarded a renewable energy offer from Renovate Round 1.5 in November 2016, and in 2017 signed an Energy Supply Agreement with the Electric Wholesale Market Authority (Cammesa). The chosen area in the church area was selected for its largest Solar Resource, one of the best in the country and in the world.
The project includes the construction of an 132 kV high-voltage power transmission line at 16 kilometers from the park to the Bauchaceta ET in Sadi.
This time, Governor Uñac said that "the problem of climate change has been created between the public and private sectors, whose aim is to continue to think that the only social writer is employment, and therefore we are creating new market niches."
Mayor Marcelo Marinero spoke about the contribution to "productive and economic development," while Jinko's project director Fernando Mateo emphasized that "this is the largest photovoltaic project that will be introduced at national level in the coming weeks."
Albardon is also Las Lomitas photovoltaic park, which was discovered in late October. Its production capacity is 2.5 MW, and it was worth investing 2.5 million pesos. Entrepreneurship will mean clean energy for more than a thousand homes and is part of the National Renewable Energy Plan, which has over 200 such initiatives in the country. The official aim is to make renewable energy competitive.
