NASA's commercial launch vehicle SpaceX targets at 13:38. EST on Tuesday, 4 December, to launch its 16th resource delivery mission to the International Space Station. The on-line transmission will begin on NASA's television and agency website on Monday, December 3, with pre-flash events.

The Dragon spacecraft will provide deliveries and payloads, including critical materials, to directly support dozens of more than 250 scientific and research activities that will be carried out by station expeditions 57 and 58 teams.

Among the studies that it takes to the station, the dragon boat carries a robot refueling mission-3 (RRM3) and a global ecosystem dynamics study (GEDI). RRM3 demonstrates the storage and transfer of cryogenic fluids, which are crucial for the propulsion and life support systems in space. Although the 2nd stage robotic refueling mission (RRM2) showed tasks that lead to the addition of coolant fluid, the actual supply of the original liquid fluid is first performed with RRM3 using liquid methane. GEDI will conduct high-quality laser radiation observations in the Earth's forests and topography that will be needed to raise awareness of significant carbon and water cycle processes, biodiversity and habitats. Built on the Japanese Exhibit Module Exposure Mechanism, GEDI will provide the first high-level research data on the global vertical forest structure.

The dragon will reach the initial orbit approximately 10 minutes after the game starts. Then, two days later, on Thursday, December 6, it will then expand the solar cells and launch a carefully-choreographed motorsport series to hit the orbit of the lab. When it arrives, ESA (European Space Agency) expeditionary commander Alexander Gersts and flight engineer Serena Auin-NASA Chancellor will capture the Dragon. NASA's Anne McClain will help the duo to control telemetry during Dragon's approach. After the dragon's capture, the ground regulators send commands from the mission control to Houston Station's arm to rotate and install the spacecraft at the bottom of the Harmony station station.

Monday, December 3

Jill McGuire, Project Manager, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, will discuss RRM3.
Dr. Ralph Dubayah, Principal Investigator at Maryland University and Chief Researcher Gordard Bryan Blair, will discuss GEDI.
Dr. Elaine Horn-Ranney, Chief Researcher at Tympanogen, will discuss the investigation of new wound dressings and how antibiotics can be directly spread to the wound sites.
Nicole Wagner, LambdaVision, will discuss enhancing the performance and longevity of protein-containing retinal implants.

4:30 am – The meeting of the dragon, grip with the space station and the pier. Admission is scheduled for around 6:00.
7:30 am – Keeping the dragon down to the Harmony module of the station

The spacecraft Dragon will spend about five weeks attached to the space station. The dragon will leave the orbital outpost until January 13, when the spacecraft returns to Earth with study and return journeys.
